All hatred for writing aside, I have to have a one act, two short stories and a plethora of poems roughly finished by Thursday.

So what am I doing right now?

Of course, I'm listening to Amelie music and talking to Chris online and eating Fruit by the Foot and working on the program for a show I'm directing.

Thinking about New York.

Why do I want to go so badly? To live in the city? To see leaves change color? To get away from sophomore year? To invest in a career so shallow and superficial that it is hardly worth investing in? To be $160,000 in debt?

Early Decision deadline is less than a month away. I'm starting my application tomorrow. A week from Thursday-I'll see the leaves, I'll see the city, I'll see Little Shop of Horrors and I'll know whether my application will be finished by October 31st or January 14th.

ps-Homecoming was wondrous. I had the hottest date there.
